Land Acknowledgement

We are gathered on the traditional lands of the Tunxis, Agawam and Mohican tribes and all other tribal communities who may have once called Hartland and Barkhamsted their home. North Woods Land Conservancy asks you to join us in acknowledging these tribal communities that respected and cherished the forests, streams and wildlife that make up this beautiful land.
